This summer, I was given the opportunity to direct a two-week in-person intensive saxophone course, “The Art of Classical Saxophone” for the California State University Summer Arts program, inviting saxophone artists Yasuto Tanaka from Japan

“You Are My Peace” - is such a lovely piece. Simple melody yet the phrasing and the lasting of the air/breath (especially for singers) is what makes this piece very challenging.

Chika & Scott has been hosting a live streaming interview show and next week’s artist will be legendary classical and flamenco guitarist, Pepe Romero.

The livestream will be hosted on the Chika & Scott YouTube Channel and Facebook Page. They will also host a Q&A segment where viewers will have the opportunity to directly ask questions to Pepe! Topics will include Pepe's musical legacy as well as what inspires him to continue making music after more than 60 years as a concertizing guitarist. We will also discuss the fun times that we have every summer at La Guitarra Española Festival in Granada, Spain.
